Armour - The wing assignment

The wing assignment is an arts project by Nina Farrell. Each artist creates a piece of work inspired by a birds wing. A selection of the work will be shown at the Red Bull Studios in London this September.

A warning to the curious..

Here's some new curious wee pieces I did a few weeks ago. I'm not really sure what to make of them but I see this as a good sign.

This one is a bit odd though....a heavy load.

Hysteria

Here are some of my new small drawings. Hopefully in the future they will be transformed into larger pieces but for now I am enjoying the freedom of working on this scale and surprising myself with the outcome.

Tombs in Kreuzberg

Recently I discovered the Dreifaltigkeitsfriedhof I (Trinity Cemetery) in Kreuzberg, Berlin which is 2 minutes walk from where I live !! There are some amazing tombs and it's also the burial site of Felix Mendelssohn. Lots of inspiration for new drawings !!
